Your Path to an Affordable Education
A brighter future begins with access to quality training and education. Our financial support services provide the help you gain the skills you need for a meaningful, in-demand job. Whether you need help covering the cost of a short-term training program or ongoing guidance as you work toward a new credential, we have options built around your goals.
GAP Program
Iowa Valley BCS offers tuition assistance and support services to help you afford short-term training and noncredit education programs.
Short-Term Training Assistance
If you're looking to enter the workforce quickly with focused, job-ready skills, our short-term training assistance can help you get there.
- What it provides: Financial support for short, noncredit training programs that prepare you for high-need fields, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, and transportation. Assistance can cover tuition, books, required fees, and equipment for approved classes.
- Who it's for: Individuals who want targeted, accelerated training that leads directly to employment.
Noncredit certificate programs are not eligible for federal financial aid — but this program bridges the funding gap so cost doesn't stand between you and a new career.
Comprehensive Educational Support (PACE)
Some students need additional support to move through their educational path with confidence. The Pathways for Academic Career and Employment (PACE) program provides broader assistance to help you stay on track.
- What it provides: Limited financial support for credit and noncredit courses, plus access to services that help you navigate common challenges — résumé building, referrals to community resources, interview preparation, job search support, tutoring, grade monitoring, and general educational guidance
- Who it's for: Students who benefit from personalized, ongoing support as they pursue their education or training
Through PACE, a Pathway Navigator works with you one-on-one to identify barriers to success and connect you with the right resources so you can stay focused and motivated.
