Ready to explore your options? Visit the MCC Foundation website, contact the Admissions Office, or browse our featured MCC scholarships below.

Full tuition and standard fees for Iowa high school valedictorians or salutatorians. Renewable for a second year.

For students with an ACT composite score of 25 or above ($500 yearly).

Various amounts for high school seniors enrolling in MCC's career-technical degree programs.

Available for students participating in specific activities or athletic programs.

For students 25+ who haven't been enrolled at ECC/MCC for at least five years. Covers tuition for three credit hours during their first term.

How to Apply for ECC Scholarships.

New ECC Students:

  • Submit your Scholarship Application Form.
  • Provide a copy of your high school transcript. (Transcripts can be emailed to ECCinfo@iavalley.edu or mailed to Ellsworth Community College, ATTN: ECC Admissions Office, 1100 College Avenue, Iowa Falls, IA 50126.)

Returning ECC Students:

Sophomores have specific scholarships for returning students! Be sure to submit the Sophomore Scholarship Application Form.

Fifteen $6,000 scholarships for students majoring in Agriculture, Animal Science, or Pre-Vet. The deadline to apply is March 14.

A $1,000 scholarship for graduating seniors (Class of 2024) with an unweighted high school GPA of 3.25 or higher. No separate application is needed – you'll be notified if you qualify upon receipt of your transcript! (Note: Not applicable to transfer students or those already awarded ECC scholarships for 2024-2025.)
