2025-26 Student Ambassadors
Bailey Grant:
Meet Bailey Grant, a freshman from Le Grand with four siblings who plays slow-pitch softball and works at the YMCA. You’ll find her studying Business Administration, a major she chose for the flexibility of the classes. Bailey came to MCC because of the great things she heard from others and because it helps her pay for college in the future. While her transfer plans are still undecided, she loves the MCC staff and advises you to put yourself out there and try new things.
Kamden Jacobson
Kamden is a freshman from State Center with three younger siblings and three dogs who loves spending time outside, bowling, and hanging out with friends and family. You’ll find her majoring in Dental Assisting because she loves helping people feel confident in their smiles. She chose MCC for the welcoming environment and the benefit of being close to home, and her favorite part of being on campus is the supportive staff. While she plans to transfer to Indian Hills Community College for dental hygiene, her best advice for you is to "never be afraid to ask for help."
Ketsia Mulunda
Gemini said Ketsia is a Business Finance freshman from Lubumbashi, Congo, who comes from a family of nine and serves as an RA at MCC when she isn't watching documentaries. You'll find that she chose MCC because it is an international student-friendly community that has allowed her to grow by experiencing different cultures and social norms. Ketsia values the small class sizes and the welcoming, helpful professors who help her navigate her challenging major. While she looks forward to transferring to a four-year university after graduation, her best advice for you is to "not be afraid to open up" and to always ask for help to minimize mistakes.
Imigyn Stratton
Imigyn Stratton is a sophomore from North English, IA, who stays active on campus as a volleyball player, a leader in FCA, and a member of PTK. You’ll find her majoring in Business Administration, a path she chose for its easy scheduling and seamless transfer options. Imigyn was originally recruited for volleyball, but she stayed for the fun, helpful environment and the many resources available to help you succeed. While she plans to transfer to UNI to study business or design after graduation, her best advice for you is to "get involved and don't be afraid to try new things."
