IVCCD Board Signs Off on Thompson Hall Renovation
The Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) Board of Directors approved the measure of substantial completion of the Thompson Hall renovation project at Ellsworth Community College (ECC). Construction work has been completed by Henkel Construction Company. The District plans to host an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on July 29; the community is invited to view the completed facility.
ECC Extends Lease Agreement with Iowa Falls-Alden District
The Board approved a one-year extension to the existing lease agreement between ECC and the Iowa Falls-Alden School District for use of the athletic facilities. The lease agreement covers use of the football and baseball fields, including game day and practice facilities.
IVCCD Extends Contract with Schnurr & Company
The Board approved a five-year extension of the existing contract with Schnurr & Company. The accounting firm provides auditing services to the District. Despite a five-year extension, the District has a clause that allows for early termination if the District deems it necessary.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2024, and will be available via Zoom.
