IVCCD Board Signs Off on Locker Rooms and Activity Center at ECC
The Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) Board of Directors approved the measure of substantial completion of the locker room project, and activity center on the Ellsworth Community College campus. The projects were part of the overall campus improvement projects designed to improve the overall student experience.
ECC Extends Agreement with Achieve Mental Health
The Board approved an extension to the agreement between Achieve Mental Health and Ellsworth Community College. Achieve Mental Health provides mental health services to students. The college tracked an uptick in usage last year, so this service is a value to student experience.
IVCCD Approved an Update to the Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive Plan
Gena Garber presented changes in the language to Board Policy 449 – Voluntary Early Retirement Incentive Plan Board Policy, marking no substantial changes to the policy terms or amounts. Garber noted the policy is reviewed annually by the Board.
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. on September 11, 2024, and will be available via Zoom.
